Based on the classic movie – which is a perennial holiday television favorite – the play brings young Ralphie and his quest for the Red Ryder B.B. Gun to delightful life on stage! Visions of pink bunny suits, tongues stuck on flagpoles, turkey-loving dogs and Pop’s beloved fishnet leg lamp will make all Austin families’ sugar-plum Christmas wishes come true. ZACH’s production of A CHRISTMAS STORY will feature MARCO PERELLA as The Adult Ralph and the story’s narrator, with MANGUS BOHLS as The Young Ralphie, MEREDITH McCALL as Mother and CHRIS GIBSON as The Old Man, along with Keaton Brandt, Ella Devany, Jordan Elsass, Zia Kinzy, William May, Anna McGuire, Diego Rodriguez, Abby Roland, Will Sendra, Tristan Tierney, Delaney Wingrove and Lara Wright. A CHRISTMAS STORY is directed by DAVE STEAKLEY, with Scenic Design by MICHELLE NEY, Lighting Design by SARAH MAINES, Costume Design by SUSAN BRANCH TOWNE, Wig & Hair Design by SERRET JENSEN, Sound Design by CRAIG BROCK, Properties Design by SCOTT GROH and Stage Management by LISA GOERING.

WHEN: November 27, 2013 – December 29, 2013 Champagne Opening and Press Night is Thursday, December 5th, followed by a reception with the stars of the show. GLBT Wilde Party with pre-show mixer is Thursday, December 26th. Performances: Tuesday-Saturday at 7:30 p.m., Sunday at 2:30 p.m., with added Saturday 2:30 p.m. matinees on Dec. 14th, 21st, and 28th, and added Sunday 7:30 p.m. performances on Dec. 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th.
