Backyard Birds Photography Workshop
Learn to create better images of the birds that visit your backyard and practice making your own photography set-ups in a country setting during this full-day Backyard Bird Photography Workshop.
The group will be small — just six (6) participants.
~ Sunday, February 25, 2018 ~
We’ll talk about how to create photo-worthy perches and backyard bird photography set-ups. Artistic elements will be covered, including how to create set-ups that result in visually appealing images, tips on composing bird photographs, the best lighting for photographing birds, and other key issues regarding getting good images of these quick-flying subjects.
I’ll provide in-depth instruction regarding the ideal placement of set-ups, perches, feeders, blinds, etc. so that the birds — and you — will be in the best position(s) for photography and good (read: non-distracting and smooth) backgrounds.
Equipment obviously plays a key role in getting good images — both photography equipment AND that related to attracting birds to your backyard. Thus, we’ll focus also on those topics, including taking a look at your special needs given the type of yard you have, where you live, and your budget constraints.
This workshop also includes tips on how to affordably build your own backyard bird photo blind plus an afternoon photo shoot in my own affordably-built photo blinds at Red Belly Ranch.
INCLUDES LUNCH (on-site); Limited to six (6) participants
