‘Prenatal Yoga’ Classes Offered Saturday Mornings
“Prenatal Yoga” is a one-hour class will help participants prepare their body, mind and spirit for the challenges of childbirth and motherhood. Participants will practice yoga asanas to relieve physical discomforts of pregnancy, breath work to develop mental endurance and short meditations to help bring inner peace.
Classes are scheduled from 9 to 10 a.m. every Saturday, beginning Dec. 2, 2017, in the second-floor atrium at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Round Rock, 300 University Blvd., Round Rock, TX 78665.
Participants must consult with their physician before beginning prenatal yoga practice. Each participant needs to bring a yoga mat, towel and water bottle and wear comfortable clothing that allows for stretching and light exercise. No jeans, hooded sweatshirts, dresses or skirts.
