Child Abuse: Indicators, Disclosures and Mandated Reporting (Leander)
This presentation was developed for youth-serving adults and discusses the various forms of child abuse. The presenter will discuss the indicators, the appropriate response to a child's disclosure and how to report the situation. After this training you will be able to: define child abuse & neglect identify 3 common signs of abuse & neglect describe the mandated reporters role and duties Due to the sensitive nature of this training, no children under the age of 18 are permitted to attend. This training has been approved for 1.5 hours of continued education credits for mental health providers and educators. This course meets Texas Department of Family and Protective Services and TEA training requirements. Certificates will be given upon the completion of the course.
