Garden to Glass Cocktail Workshop

Our spring/summer herb and pepper garden is growing and our locally-sourced sotol is wild harvested weekly. This cocktail workshop will teach your how to create cocktails using fresh produce from your own garden and also how to grow your own garden with tips from our friends The Natural Gardener. Desert Door sotol is as versatile as vodka, and as flavorful as whiskey, hence why it pairs well with so many different flavors. In our tasting room we use fresh and locally sourced produce to create uniquely flavored cocktails. During this one-hour, small group workshop, we'll make 3 different cocktails using rosemary, mint, basil and/or Chile Pequin. We'll set you up with full bar setups, herbs from our garden, agave nectar, and a few simple juices. In between each cocktail - we'll have an expert from The Natural Gardener talk about the drink's main herb or pepper and how to grow it. Tickets are $35 per person + tax. Includes: -One hour class with Desert Door Sotologist -3 cocktails per person -All ingredients and barware -Tasting of our Desert Door Original Sotol -Complimentary tour available before workshop at 5:30 pm if you wish to join. Workshop is 6:00-7:00 PM. Stick around after and share a charcuterie board or order pizza in from our friends at Hill Country Ranch Pizzeria while listening to live music in our tasting room. Must be 21+ to participate in this event.
