Join the Bullock Museum and author Alison Macor for a livestream discussion about her book, Chainsaws, Slackers, and Spy Kids - Thirty Years of Filmmaking in Austin, Texas.

This first edition of the Texas Focus Book Club will accent Alison Macor's book, Chainsaws, Slackers, and Spy Kids - Thirty Years of Filmmaking in Austin, Texas, which looks at the Austin film industry beginning with the 1970s horror classic, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and concludes in the early 2000's with Spy Kids.

A cinematic exploration of the Texas narrative, the Museum's Texas Focus Film Series highlights stories by, for, and about Texans.

Purchase this book online through the Museum Store. All purchases support the Bullock Museum’s exhibitions and educational programs.

Program is FREE to the public and will be available post-livestream on the Bullock Museum YouTube channel.
